Shipping & Returns

Processing Time

Everything in the shop is already sewn and ready to ship — each piece is one of a kind, finished by hand, and waiting for you. Orders usually go out within 1–3 business days. During busier seasons this may run a little longer, and I’ll always note any delays at the top of the shop.

Custom orders are different. Those are cut and sewn from scratch for you, and take 10–14 days from the moment we agree on the details — plus shipping time on top. Quilts take 8–12 weeks, because a quilt is forty-odd hours of work rather than an afternoon.

Shipping

• We currently ship within the U.S.
• Orders ship via USPS, and you’ll receive a tracking number by email once your order is on its way.
• One flat shipping fee per order, however much you add — $6.50 if your order includes a tote, a book sleeve or a home piece, $4.50 for scrunchies, bows, pet bandanas and gift card holders only, and free on orders of $50 or more.
• San Antonio local? Choose Local pickup at checkout and skip shipping entirely.

Processing time and shipping time are different — processing happens first, then your package travels. Total time from order to delivery is usually 3–8 business days.

Returns & Exchanges

Because every piece is handmade and one of a kind, we handle returns a little differently than a big-box store:

• Shop pieces may be returned within 14 days of delivery, unused and in original condition, for a refund or exchange.
• Custom orders are final sale, since they’re cut and sewn specifically for you. If something isn’t right, please reach out — we’ll always try to make it right.
• If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo, and we’ll send a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

How to Start a Return

Email dragoninkandthread@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return. We’ll get back to you within 1–2 business days with next steps.
