Every piece in the shop started as an idea. A custom order is simply your idea instead of mine — your print, your size, made for you or for someone you love.
What people ask for

A tote sized to your book
Deeper, wider, longer straps, an inside pocket for your card wallet — built around what you actually carry.
A print I haven't used yet
Found a fabric you love? Send it to me. If I can source it (or you post it to me), I can sew it.
A piece that already found a home
Saw something in Stories that already sold? I can often make it again — never identical, but the same spirit.
A gift in someone's colors
Bows for a wedding party, a set in a friend's favorite shade, a matching tote and scrunchie for a birthday.
How it works
No commitment until you've seen the price. Nothing is charged when you send the form.

I'll write back with a price and a timeline
Usually within a couple of days. If it's something I can't do well, I'll say so honestly rather than take the order.

You say yes, and I send an invoice
Same secure checkout as the shop. Only then do I start cutting.

I sew it, and send you a photo before it ships
So you see it finished before it leaves my table.
Before you ask

Not my craft
- Clothing, quilts, or anything that needs to fit a body
- Repairs and alterations to something you already own
- Licensed characters or another artist's design
- Large wholesale runs — this is one pair of hands
Price, minimum, and timing
Price: it depends on size, lining, and the fabric it takes, but as a guide:
- Totes — $50 to $100
- Bows — $10 to $15
- Scrunchies — $6 to $12
- Matching sets — quoted together, and usually kinder than the pieces separately
I'll always give you a price before anything begins, and you're free to walk away.
Minimum: custom orders start at $25. A single scrunchie or bow is happiest as part of a bigger custom order or a set — if you just want one on its own, the ready-made ones in the shop are the same lovely thing for less.
Timing: most custom pieces take 10 to 14 days to make, counted from the day you accept your quote — plus shipping time on top. Everything is sewn by one person around a small child, so work is booked in the order it comes in. If I can't hit a deadline you need, I'll tell you before you commit rather than after.
Custom pieces are made to your specification, so they can't be returned unless something arrives damaged or wrong. See Shipping & Returns.
